Thomas Merton Center communications director Melissa Minnich said she "thinks there will be protests, but I certainly don't think it will be violent."
Though Pittsburgh has a small but passionate political activist community, Minnich did say "it's hard for people who don't know where their next paycheck is coming from to concern themselves with things of this magnitude, things like stopping wars and the G-20."
